Description

Pearson and the Commission on Teacher Credentialing are seeking California educators and administrators to join the team of qualified assessors scoring the California Administrator Performance Assessment (CalAPA).

Serving as an assessor is a valuable professional development opportunity involving educators across the state, and is important to the success of the programs and education in the state of California.

Get paid for your time training, calibrating, and scoring, while providing a needed service to California and to teacher candidates seeking to follow your path.

Project Details

  • Virtual training sessions are required

  • Once calibrated, score from home with flexible hours

  • Successful assessors are invited to return for future opportunities

  • Supervisor and trainer opportunities are available

Qualifications

Educators must

  • Hold a current California Clear or Life Administrative Services Credential

AND

  • Have a minimum of three (3) years of current or recent (within 3 years) experience as a TK-12 administrator in California OR ● Have a minimum of three (3) years of current or recent (within 3 years) experience as a member of a Commission-approved preliminary or clear administrative services preparation program
