Pearson Campaign Marketing Intern in Boston, Massachusetts

Campaign Marketing Intern

Description

At Pearson, we’re committed to a world that’s always learning and to our talented team who makes it all possible. From bringing lectures vividly to life to turning textbooks into laptop lessons, we are always re-examining the way people learn best, whether it’s one child in our own backyard or an education community across the globe. We are bold thinkers and standout innovators who motivate each other to explore new frontiers in an environment that supports and inspires us to always be better. By pushing the boundaries of technology — and each other to surpass these boundaries — we create seeds of learning that become the catalyst for the world’s innovations, personal and global, large and small.

We are looking to bring a current student’s voice and insight to a campaign to showcase student sentiment and college cost concerns to support our message of AAA and the impact college and courseware costs have on students’ choices, and ultimately employability. The campaign would be aimed at the C&D Suite audiences, and would drive awareness and demand for Inclusive Access.

The project would include analyzing data from two large surveys centered on decisions and trade-offs college students made/make to manage college costs (eg, number of weeks you've gone without purchasing courseware due to costs, etc) and a survey on career goals motivating college decisions.

From our insights, we are looking to build infographics and other content pieces that would be used in our campaigns to help showcase what is front of mind for students on affordability and employability. Possibly with the intern identifying and interviewing candidates for student spokesperson who we would track and record their IA experiences, and share out their impact stories, from day one and throughout the semester, on social channels, videos, etc..
