The Account Manager will lead a business-critical effort that manages a portfolio of Accelerated Pathways corporate clients and will take the lead on operational management of these partnerships. We are looking for a committed leader with excellent organizational skills and enthusiasm for driving our client’s success factors for their tuition reimbursement efforts and for our clients’ employees to achieve success.This role requires the ability to navigate corporate learning and college partner (CP) operationsand our network of service partners within Pearson. Operational and financial capabilities (e.g. P&L management) are required along with an understanding of how to effectively manage public/private partnerships.
Design and implement business plans and procedures for successful operational management of our various corporate client partnerships for Accelerated Pathways (AP).
Implement launch tactical activities for client partners and current/future college partners for AP.
Work with Pearson enabling and management functions to simplify marketing and data reporting process workflows.
Analyze data and progress towards goals for each client partnership.
Identify and implement marketing and employee engagement activities for each assigned account that will enable the attainment of forecasted start numbers.
Work directly with leaders of our services team to ensure client requirements can be fulfilled.
Problem-solve key issues and evaluate partnership performance with the Business Development and Operations teams.
4-year degree from an accredited institution in Business, Finance, Marketing or equivalent discipline OR appropriate combination of experience and education.
Expertise in managing the dynamics of partnerships including public and private partnerships, with particular focus on learning initiatives
Minimum of 5 years of experience using analytical approaches to develop, measure and evolve processes.
An understanding of diverse project management principles, processes, methodologies and tools paired with an ability to critically evaluate and implement the right options for each project.
Ability to successfully manage multiple complex, cross-functional projects simultaneously.
Ability to develop strong relationships, and communicate effectively while under pressure - balancing confidence, humility and diplomacy internally and externally.
Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
Passion for higher education, learner success and our mission.
Ability to travel as needed.
