Position Description

The Technical Project Manager will lead and manage technical projects of varying sizes, as well as enhancement requests for multiple teams. You will use industry best practices in an agile, results driven environment across a diverse set of areas, including: finance, infrastructure, test center utilization, e-commerce, registration and scheduling. You are expected to understand, drive and effectively communicate your projects from both business and technology perspectives. In this role, you will be expected to continually grow, and challenge all of us to raise the bar even higher with your contributions to people, process and technology. These teams are highly collaborative and are continually working on a variety of complex and challenging projects.

The Technical Project Manager will:

  • Establish, document, and manage project scope, schedule, timeline and budget

  • Ensure scope, objectives and schedule are clearly understood by the teams, stakeholders and sponsors

  • Be accountable for the delivery of projects to approved schedule, scope and budget

  • Manage and obtain approval for changes to project scope, schedule or budget

  • Identify and manage project risks and issues

  • Facilitate Agile processes and best practices with your teams (planning and execution)

  • Assist teams to remove blockers and issues, escalate as needed

  • Coordinate work across multiple projects, enhancements and teams

  • Establish relationships with stakeholders and clients

  • Understand and clearly communicate updates, risks and issues

  • Drive decision making processes

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience (Master degree preferred)

  • Recent project management experience

  • 2 years Agile software development project experience (in any role)

  • Experienced managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proven track record of successfully leading multiple project teams through the full software development lifecycle to deliver business goals and requirements

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Certification preferred
