Pearson VUE is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our global marketing team. The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy and execution for the existing and new Pearson VUE suite of products and services.
Reporting to the Global Vice President of Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager will work collaboratively across product management, business development, and marketing and communications to develop, launch and manage the value propositions that enable us to maintain our leader position in the market.
This role will be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of our customer segments, market trends, and competitive forces. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable expertise in core areas of product marketing -- go-to-market strategies, product and service positioning, value-based messaging, customer & competitive intelligence, and sales enablement.
Develop product positioning and value propositions that differentiate Pearson VUE in the market, and ensure our story is consistently told across channels.
Manage new service releases and go-to-market strategies; effectively coordinate across internal teams to ensure go-to-market alignment and readiness.
Create and deliver various marketing communications assets and presentations to articulate the benefits of Pearson VUE products and features.
Market intelligence – be the expert on our clients, their candidates, the competition, and wider marketplace.
Proven Abilities We’re Looking For
Experience launching products and services in a dynamic and competitive B-to-B marketplace.
A strategic thinker who can synthesize complex information and translate into simple and compelling deliverables.
Comfortable prioritizing and multi-tasking a diverse set of projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong project management skills, confidence in leading complex and cross-organizational projects.
Solid financial acumen and disciplined budget management.
Exceptional copywriting, editing, and communications skills.
Effective in building collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams.

Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing-related discipline.
10 years’ experience in fast-paced product marketing positions with proven project management skills.
Expert understanding of go-to-market and commercialization steps.
Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with demonstrated creative, writing, and editing skills.
Strong critical and creative thinking, sound business judgment and emotional intelligence.
