Pearson Marketing Cloud (PMC) is our Global Technology Platform that enables customers to access learning products and services through eCommerce and Digital Marketing journeys. We currently process more than 80% of global Pearson eCommerce revenue and serves nearly 50% of all Pearson web traffic, with over 24million page views per month.
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who can identify and document business and technical requirements. Working with the technology architects, you will help turn the requirements into technical solutions. You will have good exposure to Agile methodologies and able to identify and document epics and user stories.

As a Senior Business Analyst you will:
Identify and document accurately and succinctly business requirements
Act as a scrum master/delivery manager where required to help overall project delivery
Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the stories are comprehensive and well formed
Work closely with the technology architects and leads to convert business requirements into technology solutions.
Create epics and stories in JIRA for the scrum teams to pick up
Ensure requirements are fully documented in Confluence
Work closely with the QA testers to ensure good testing coverage is achieved
Help identify dependencies, working closely with the Project Manager
Skills & Abilities
8+ years' experience of business analysis working within customer-facing enterprise eCommerce and/or content platform implementation environments
Omni-channel business process experience across B2C or B2B commerce platforms
Excellent knowledge of AGILE methodologies, including JIRA & Confluence
Strong scrum master experience leading large agile teams
Knowledge of test-driven-development (TDD) & behavior-driven-development (BDD)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
A team player works well with technical and non-technical resources
Strong awareness of technology initiatives and terminology impacting the digital world
