PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as key leader and expert on Admin and DevOps practices

  • Implement and support Continuous Integration and Deployment Pipelines.

  • Mentor junior members in the team

  • Engage with cross-functional co-located teams in design, development and implementation of enterprise scalable features related to enabling higher developer productivity, environment monitoring and self-healing, and facilitate autonomous delivery teams.

  • Install and maintain IBM Integration BUS / App Connect (CP4I) / MQ / Informatica servers and software, develop scripts and establish configuration standards on system setup

  • Support, troubleshoot and analyze code on all 3 layers of the stack related to infrastructure, middleware, and continuous integration and delivery frameworks.

  • Production Release Implementation plan and Install Support

  • Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems.

  • Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions

  • Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements.

  • Work closely with technology teams as required to prioritize activities and ensure compliance to corporate and legal policies

  • Work with multi cloud vendor technologies as SAAS provides are all cloud based now.

  • Be part of an out of hours on-call support rota as required. Active out of hours support on month end periods is expected.

  • Develop IIB / Informatica bug-fixes and small enhancements to existent BAU processes and applications

  • Ability to communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Evaluation and willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge.

  • Ability to understand and determine when issues should be escalated to a higher level.

  • Good attitude that will allow the team to perform better, work as a team player

  • Contribute to overall architecture across different stack.

  • Contribute to organize work into actionable plans, projects and committed time frames. Manage the effort, communicate status and mitigate risks & issues

  • Prepare the weekly and Monthly support report and present to management, highlighting the trends, root causes and recommendations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

· Ideal candidate of 10+ years of IT experience and hand on experience in any one of the essential skills

Essential technical skills / tools:

  • IBM Integration BUS / App Connect (CP4I) / Informatica / Spring Boot (Integration)

  • IBM Advance MQ (including Managed File Transfer)

  • Relational Database - Oracle, SQL Server.. etc

  • Linux / Unix command line and shell scripting

  • Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, Openshift, Jenkins, Python, Bitbucket

  • Google, AWS Cloud

Desirable

  • App Connect / IIB / WMB / Informatica / AWS Cloud / Google Cloud certification

  • Familiar in Java, Unix/Python Shell Scripting

  • ETL experience like Informatica Power Centre, IDQ

  • Experience in Source Control tool like Subversion, Bitbucket

  • Experience in cloud environments like AWS, Google, Azure

  • Experience in Administration of IBM Integration BUS, MQ & MFT
