Purpose Summary
The Creative Services Manager will be responsible for managing the team generating creative content and creative strategies that increase awareness, drive lead volume, nurture prospective families and retain them for Pearson Virtual Schools brands. This team serves as a centralized creative resource for all of PVS marketing, delivering consistent, innovative, and on-brand creative content, strategies, and solutions.
Core Tasks and Responsibilities
Manage the creative services team, budget, external vendors/suppliers and associated contracts
Mange team to continually deliver creative projects on time or in a timely manner based on established expectations
Manage outsourcing workflows through freelancers and agencies while also maintaining budget conservancies
Generate innovative relationships and negotiate cost savings with vendor partners
Review ongoing metrics to adjust creative as necessary to achieve enrollment goals
Review and maintain brand consistency across all creative assets produced in-house and those outsourced
Develop and manage overarching content strategy, informed by data, research, and new trends
Monitor and track content initiatives to ensure visibility into content production across teams to assess performance
Seek opportunities to visually tell the Connections Academy story through student and parent videos
Manage the team responsible for Resource Hub content development and distribution across channels; editorial strategy; performance tracking; SEO optimization
Provide positive environment for cross-functional marketing collaboration on creative projects to ensure holistic brand compliance and efficiencies
Oversee management of project management workflow system and Digital Asset Manager
Lead and manage the adoption and training of new creative processes and project management systems to streamline creative projects and improve efficiency
Ensure alignment with Brand team on all positioning, messaging, and brand management
Serve as a brand champion across the organization to support brand visual identity and positioning, and elevate the standards of creative output
Required Skills, Experience, and Competencies
Experienced professional in Marketing, Creative Services and/or a related field
Expertise in developing creative and innovative content strategies
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or equivalent
Advertising/marketing agency experience will be considered a plus
Clearly demonstrated ability to curate high-quality, properly branded, and relevant content for various marketing channels across multiple platforms
Experience in assessing and interpreting customer and business needs
Ability to think creatively and in a performance-minded manner
Experience writing strategic creative briefs and working with marketing strategy and agency partners
Proven strength in communication, presentation and influence skills; able to speak comfortably and clearly to key stakeholders, leadership teams and external partners
Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to pivot and reprioritize projects based on business-critical needs, time and budget constraints
Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain positive, productive relationships with colleagues, customers and vendors
Ability to relate well with individuals of diverse backgrounds on all levels within the company
