Software Quality Support Analyst

The Software Quality Support Analyst executes user-based test cases to ensure that software products meet design specifications. This also includes preparing test data and test scenarios. The ideal candidate should be able to work well in a team environment with limited instruction and demonstrate good judgment in implementing methods and techniques for obtaining results.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in team activities such as requirement reviews and test case reviews

  • Execute testing tasks to validate end to end user experience

  • Identify and clearly write defects as part of our validation process

  • Other duties as assigned by managers or leads

*The anticipated starting hourly wage for Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $20-23/hour. This position is not eligible to participate in an incentive program.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma

  • Experience using various web browsers including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer

  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel

Desired Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting

  • Ability to follow detailed step by step instructions

  • Clearly explain and document steps to reproduce a defect

  • Report progress on problems and resolutions to management

  • Desire to learn and expand knowledge in software application development

  • Strong Written and Verbal skills to communicate with clarity and brevity to other professionals

  • Desire to work in the technology field

  • Prefer someone based in Iowa City, IA or surrounding areas
