Pearson Account Manager in Ankara, Turkey

We are looking for an 'ACCOUNT MANAGER' to be based in Ankara.

  • Generate sales for a portfolio of accounts and reach the company's sales target

  • Customer oriented, developing a complete understanding of client needs and ready to provide holistic solutions

  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to remain a client-account manager relationship by up-selling and cross-selling

  • Winning profitable deals and bringing in new clients

  • Developing a solid and trusting relationship between clients and company

  • Managing communications between clients and internal teams

  • Managing and solving client issues and complaints

  • Interact and coordinate with the sales team, channel partners, and other staff members in other departments working on the same account

  • Meet time deadlines for accounts

  • Responsible for the sales forecast at the assigned accounts

  • Aligned with the global strategy

  • Strategic planning to improve client results


  • Bachelors degree in English Language Teaching or English/American Literature, Economics, Business Administration from a reputable university

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience

  • Being a good team member

  • Trustworthy, growth mindset, goal oriented

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, critical thinking, negotiation skills

  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and interpersonal communication

  • Fluent in English

  • Technological proficiency: working knowledge of the Web and basic software programs/applications (MS Office Programs, Zoom, Teams)

  • Have no obstacle to travel

  • Valid driver's license

  • For male candidates: Military obligation completed
