Role Overview and Purpose: The Stakeholder manager plays a pivotal role in driving growth of Pearson vocational qualifications and services, within the Jordanian market, positioning. Pearson as an organisation dedicated to addressing employability skills gaps, and driving partnerships and engagement with industry.
Possessing excellent commercial skills, coupled with a good understanding of market, competitor analysis and customer needs, you will drive growth of the portfolio; identifying opportunities, leading on partnerships to drive growth and expansion. Your excellent communication skills and passion for whatever you do will enable you to champion the Pearson brand with internal and external stakeholders.

Possessing excellent commercial skills, you will develop and manage highly visible relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, including sales teams, global employers, professional bodies, industry groups; providing thought leadership on market and industry trends and seeking recognition of Pearson qualifications to support student progression into employment.
Your understanding of market needs and passion for addressing skills gap within industry, will enable you to drive commercial partnerships with stakeholders; formulating and presenting Pearson solutions to fill gaps and driving revenue growth Pearson internationally.
You will be the go-to expert in terms of employment and skills data, identifying key market segments, and employers and industry with whom you will build effective collaborations.
Your passion for the employability and skills agenda, coupled with good research skills and a can-do attitude, will enable you to lead on initiatives on industry trends, develop employability services and tools to support our proposition and articulate how Pearson vocational qualifications interact with career paths to support student progression into jobs.
Key Deliverables
Build and manage relationships with market-leading employers, professional bodies and industry groups; seeking recognition to support students’ progression into employment and ensuring visibility of Pearson’s industry engagement .
Identify and drive commercial partnerships with employers/groups in focus sectors, developing an understanding of needs and maximising commercial opportunities.
Understand market drivers, champion these, and translate these into opportunities for colleagues to bring opportunities to fruition.
Identify and support initiatives; working with colleagues in the UK and Jordan to define a go to market strategy.
Monitor the marketplace; identifying and sharing information on global skills gaps, trends and key competitor activity, driving action through other teams where necessary.
Lead panels and events, lead on thought leadership and raise the profile of Pearson .
Manage and define industry relations and partnerships’ operational plan and budget, ensuring activities provide value for money and are in line with Pearson’s strategy.
Personal Style, Experience, Skills and qualifications that help you to succeed in this role:
Excellent team worker with exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, including business writing skills.
Ability to find solutions to problems, flag issues appropriately, and work flexibly with international stakeholders.
Desire to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with a forward-thinking, pragmatic, and commercial approach.
Proven track record in leading and managing innovative projects, developing successful long-term strategies, and driving market-winning propositions.
Experience in conducting research, building partnerships, driving joint ventures, and working within an international educational context.
Commercial experience, including knowledge of vocational education, current market, and policy.
Passion for identifying skills gaps and driving employability agendas in education.
Leadership skills (Leading Self, Leading Others, Leading the Business), ethical, customer-focused, transformational, and innovative.
Team player, driven, strong networker, effective communicator, and problem solver.
Native Arabic speaker.
