The International Marketing Manager, is responsible for contributing to effective international marketing plans for the Certiport portfolio of certification programs, as well as implementing direct marketing activities across geographies either directly or indirectly through the Certiport partner channel. This individual will work with agreed-upon budgets, sales volumes, program objectives and timelines. The International Marketing Manager is also responsible for gathering marketing activity data from the international partners to share with clients in quarterly business reviews. The international marketing manager will work closely with the international sales team to contribute to the annual strategic marketing planning and ensuring marketing activities and tactics are carried out properly to meet the business objectives of our clients and Certiport/Pearson VUE.

Working closely with the global international Certiport partner and sales channel and the Certiport Field and Product Marketing teams, the International Marketing Manager, works as a marketing liason between these internal teams, the client and other stakeholders to ensure the marketing activities and tactics are developed and implemented either directly to targeted accounts or through the Certiport partner channel in an effective and high-quality way. Using his/her marketing expertise, this individual will be responsible for implementing marketing programs as defined in the marketing plan for the public sector, They will also be responsible for measuring and tracking program effectiveness against established sales and marketing objectives. This position will also serve as a corporate point-of-contact for regional field/product marketing managers, Certiport Geographic Sales Leads, and working with the appropriate teams in Bloomington, MN or American Fork, UT, as needed.

Education and Experience:

§ BA or BS in marketing, business communications or related field required.

§ 3 - 5 years of marketing experience working on a variety of marketing and market development activities.

§ Experience working with high-level customer contacts.

§ Experience working with affiliates, external representatives or strategic partners helpful.

§ Experience working on a highly-matrixed, global team preferred.

§ Experience in international marketing preferred.

§ Experience managing projects from inception to completion, including managing to a timeline and budget.

§ Experience across multiple promotional vehicles (advertising, collateral, email blasts, Web, direct mail, events, social media) preferred.

§ Digital marketing experience (e.g., email blasts, microsites, Flash) preferred.

§ Adept at using Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook) and experience with graphic design or web programs (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, html coding) helpful.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Highly motivated, organized individual with ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and customer contact skills required.

  • Second-language skills preferred.

  • Excellent presentation and speaking skills.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment in occasionally stressful situations.

  • Relationship management skills required.

  • Knowledge of the IT certification industry and/or electronic testing preferred.

  • IC3 and MOS certification preferred
