Pearson Technical Project Manager in Albany, New York

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager with experience in managing large scale global eCommerce and Subscription Service implementations . The right person will be a high-performing, hands-on Delivery Manager experienced in technology and business enterprise transformation projects. The Expertise You Have
Bachelor’s degree at a minimum; advanced degree is a plus
7-10 years’ experience in a project or program management role
The Skills You Bring
You demonstrate a big picture understanding of the business, its interrelationships, and priorities
You have the capacity to manage end to end delivery from front end customer facing experience to back end financial reporting and data analytics.
You have outstanding project/program management skills
You are a strategic problem solver and can identify key areas for improvement of processes or results
You are skilled with problem solving and can apply research and/or additional benchmarking data to generate solutions
You have positive relationship building and business partnership skills; you collaborate well with project team members for the lifecycle of the project
You deliver well-received presentations of cost, benefits, risks, and other considerations; you can effectively influence broad partner groups to successful outcomes
You respond well to shifting priorities while maintaining progress of regularly scheduled work
The Value You Deliver
Leads planning and deployment of large-scale project, establishing project plans that ensure alignment of people, processes, and technology
Manages planning and development of deliverables for assigned project using industry accepted methodologies including identifying project team roles and responsibilities, change control, risk/Issue management, financial plan, resource plan, communications plan, work management plan, quality management and project closure
Responds to and manages issues, risks and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle; acts as an escalation point and facilitates resolution of issues related to project or work stream
Supports activities related to the life cycle of a project, including end to end requirements capturing, solutioning, testing and production deployment.
Provides oversight in the validation of solution designs and integration to ensure alignment across the eco-system landscape.
Gathers all relevant information and points of view to make and/or recommend sound decisions where a project is concerned
Facilitates successful meetings to ensure agenda topics are covered; summarizes decisions, open issues, and action items accurately
The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $120 - 145K. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
