LONG-TERM, TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT (1 YEAR)

The role of the Senior Business Analyst supporting Data Migration is to liaison between the Pearson NA businesses and data migrationteam, helping guide the Pearson North American businesses through the series ofcomplex migration activities and providing them support through theprocess. Duties include:

  • Managing business resources in defining dataquality/extraction/profiling rules and data cleansing activities by release

  • Working across the businesses to define datatransformation rules

  • Drafting, reviewing and staffing datareconciliation/validation requirements during mock, UAT and cutover phases

  • Performing data cleansing and supporting datamapping, as necessary

  • Supporting other ad hoc requests/needs of theboth the Data Migration and TEP OPA team

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work with all levels and functions within a business organization

  • Prior large scale ERP implementation experience, preferably with Data Migration activities

  • Working knowledge of Oracle Project Accounting

  • Minimum of 10 years in finance, accounting or related roles

  • BA required, MBA preferred
