TheHead, Partnership Management is a senior leader of the Managed Services UK teamand directly manages the performance of a University Partnership. Theoverall responsibility for the Head, Partnership Management is to provide thestrategic direction, management and leadership of a portfolio of onlinepost-graduate masters programmes launched in long-term partnership with UKUniversities. This portfolio of programmes is supported by a business unitresponsible for the marketing, recruitment and retention services for ouracademic institution partners. The Head, Partnership Management will befully accountable for the success of this business unit by creating andexecuting a detailed and rigorous account plan, managing the P&L for thebusiness unit, building relationships with key stakeholders within the PartnerInstitution and launching new programs successfully.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The responsibilities and duties of this positioninclude but are not limited to:

BusinessUnit Leadership

  • Provide the strategic direction andleadership for the business unit.

  • Ensure the unit is working collaborativelyas a team to achieve plan objectives and that each function is performing atoptimum levels.

AcademicPartner Relationship Management

  • Build relationships with the keystakeholders within the University/Academic Partner. Understand their visionfor future growth and explore new opportunities.

  • Keep the Academic Partners posted onnew opportunities in their space and on new practices.

  • Facilitate bi-weekly or monthlymeetings with the stakeholders at the University to ensure that all aspects of thebusiness are functioning successfully.

  • Collaborate with the functionalleaders to ensure best practices are implemented within the business unit.

  • Create strategic account plans forall Academic Partners by understanding both the industry and the AcademicPartner’s long term vision.

  • Oversee any contractual payments toAcademic Partners.

FinancialManagement

  • Manage the portfolio of AcademicPartners against the P&L for every Academic Partner.

  • Work with the functional leaders toensure their individual budgets and headcounts are following the plan.

  • Identify any impacts on P&Lbecause of special requests made by Academic Partner and propose solutions toensure alignment with P&L.

NewLaunches

  • Facilitate initial launch meetingswith Academic Partner and introduce the functional leaders to the AcademicPartner.

  • Oversee the implementation of thelaunch plan to ensure successful launch and Academic Partner satisfactionduring launch.

  • Provide bi-weekly results ofmarketing launch to Academic Partner and ensure application trends are leadingto achieving enrollment targets.

Workwith internal leaders to ensure that integration with different departments atthe Institution is successfully implemented.

SupervisoryResponsibilities

  • The Head, Partnership Management willbe fully accountable for the success of this business unit.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree required, MasterDegree preferred.

  • Minimum ten to fifteen years ofprofessional experience, five (5) of which ideally is in a service orientedconsulting or Account Management role serving Higher Education.

  • Significant online learning and/orstrong consulting experience across a variety of industries.

  • Experience in managing P&L.

  • Able to make decisions with a proventrack record of decision making.

  • Excellent leadership, relationshipbuilding, negotiation, communication (written and oral), presentation, planningand organizational skills.

  • Exceptional time management skills.

  • Strong written and verbalcommunication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks andprojects.

  • Ability to identify and propose newtasks and procedures.

  • Demonstrated ability to take the leadand work against resistance to accomplish goals.

  • Highly proficient with officeautomation tools (MS Office) as well as internet and various databases bothinternal and external.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of thetime.
