Pearson is looking to appoint an Education Sales Consultant to sell our innovative, education-based solutions within the higher education market in New South Wales. You will be responsible for maintaining regular purposeful contact with key decision makers on a systematic basis, and will demonstrate Pearson’s impressive range of print and digital learning resources. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to maximise profitable sales with Universities and booksellers by focussing on your customers’ needs and designing effective solutions.

  • Tertiary qualification

  • Demonstrated achievements in a sales environment

  • Knowledge of, or experience in the Higher Education market is preferred but not essential

  • Exceptional organisation, and time management skills

  • Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication style

  • Effective customer relationship skills

  • High level of professional integrity

  • A dedicated commitment to continuous improvement and learning

  • The ability to initiate action and make improvements independently

  • Current Driver’s License (mandatory)
