Through a consultative, collaborative sales approach we support our customers with the right choice of products and services for their learners. The purpose of this role isenable direct Sales of Pearson Products/Services andSolutions to Government entities as well as Developing relationship withgovernment agencies that influences our sales in to the Tertiary and K12Markets

Key Accountabilities:

  • Gainhigh level understanding of Governments priorities for K12, HE, and VocationalEducation as well as post employment. (continuous education)

  • Formexcellent Relations, Further Position Pearson’s capabilities within Ministry ofEducation and Ministry of Labor with special Focus on NTP 2020 and relatedstakeholders.

  • Formexcellent relationship with influencing Government bodies such as T4EDU,Takamol, EEC, TVTC, etc. and engage them with the relevant solution expertswithin Pearson as needed.

  • Findout the education needs and priorities for civil servants, map these needs toPearson’s capabilities and engage with the relevant solution experts withinPearson as needed.

Key Challenges:

  • Limitedvisibility of Pearson in the Government industry.

  • Scatteredview on Pearson capabilities across Government bodies, ie each ones seesPearson from narrow past project visibility only.




  • Strongrelations across Ministries and Government bodies

  • Strongpersuasive and influencing skills.

  • Strongcommunication and presentation skills.

  • Understandingof Government purchasing life cycle

  • Understandingof the Education Market overall in KSA

  • Abilityto work in matrix organization involving several stakeholders.

  • GoodCommand of English Language

  • Highlymotivated and independent worker.

  • Targetand performance driven.


  • Excellenttrack record of institutional selling to Government entities such as MOE,MoL, and other ministries

Education, Qualifications & Training


  • BSc or BA from a reputable University

  • Desirable:

  • Previous Experience


  • Excellent track record of institutionalselling in the Government


  • IT Literacy


Excellent knowledge ofOutlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
