We currently have aneducational sales opportunity in New Hampshire/Maine within our Humanities,Social Sciences, and Languages (HSSL) division. This territory will cover 2 and4 year accounts in the New Hampshire/Maine area.

As a Pearson SalesRepresentative you are customer facing in assisting and supporting thetransformation of learning. You are also responsible for creating effective andinnovative sales solutions that address issues and challenges facinginstitutions, instructors and students today to meet necessary educationaloutcomes. If you possess a need for achievement, adesire or demonstrated success in meeting and succeeding goals, aninterest in digital media and applications and a passion for education, you mayfind this be a great fit.

Your responsibilitieswould consist of:

  • Employeffective consultative techniques including pre-call planning and productivequestioning strategies that lead to winning business.

  • Demonstratesuperb organizational and follow-up abilities; maintain product knowledgearound Pearson technologies, the educational industry, and factors influencingthe market environment.

  • Delivertechnology presentations to faculty.

  • Demonstratecollaboration through sharing of successful strategies and working with crossfunctional teams.

  • Implementcompany initiatives into sales territory.

  • Buildstrong relationships with faculty members and college bookstore personnel.

You should be able todemonstrate:

  • HighAchievement and consistent track record for excelling in a fast-paced collegeand/or work environment.

  • Salesexperience or aptitude via enthusiasm for the process of investigating,creating and fulfilling customers’ needs.

  • Excellentpresentation skills.

  • Experiencewith Learning Technologies or curiosity about the development of traditionaland technology based intellectual property.

  • Technologicalproficiency and strong working knowledge of the internet, mobile technologies,and computer applications and business systems.

  • Exceptionalverbal and written communication.

  • A4-year college degree demonstrating academic excellence.
