The Marketing CommunicationsSpecialist is responsible for providing world-class marketing services forprospective and existing Academic Partners. The MCS may develop or work with various internal/external teams toidentify, manage, and deliver services such as: the design and deployment of partner opportunities, account management,marketing strategy, messaging, creative, project and identity management. The MCS utilizes their strong marketing andcommunications skills & services to optimize partner relationships toexceed results. The MCS may be allocatedto focus on a particular component of the marketing life cycle and orservice.Recognizes when a decision is needed forproblem solving, analyzes the situation and makes independent recommendationsand decisions.

General Responsibilities

  • Provides World Class Marketing Client Service Management bycreating synergies with internal teams and Academic Partners which empowers thebusiness to exceed objectives.

  • Works on the planning, implementation, development and orservicing of new marketing ideas for Academic Partners & internal teams.

  • Supports communications projects for various components of themarketing life cycle or services.

  • Participates in the development, execution and/or servicing ofmarketing objectives.

  • Prepares & presents materials/findings both internally andexternally for the marketing communications area he or she supports.

  • Provides Academic Partner insights and strategies which helpenable internal & external teams deliver results that exceed objectives.

  • Creates buy­in from multiple constituents in a collaborative cross-­functional environment.


General Qualifications

  • 4-yeardegree from an accredited institution inJournalism,English, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business Administrationor related field, OR appropriate combination of education andsignificant experience

  • Professional oral and written communication skills for effectiverelationship development/management and presentations with stakeholders

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

  • Superior attention to detail, excellent organizational & project management skills

  • The ability to multi-task, and work well under pressure with tight timelines

  • Experience working on and implementing account management strategies which exceed client and business objectives
