Customer Services for UK Qualifications comprisesapproximately 250 members of staff across five departments based in London andManchester.
Reporting to a Senior Subject Advisor, the Subject Advisor’smain focus is to offer teachers in-depth subject support on the delivery andassessment of Pearson Qualifications via telephone, web chat, email, socialmedia, newsletters and face to face network and training events. The Subject Advisor will be at the forefrontof any qualification redevelopments.
A teacher has limited time so their interactions withteaching services needs to be efficient and prompt. This will have a positiveimpact for centres and learners in terms of qualification delivery whilstgiving them a great customer experience.
Be the ‘face’ of the subject and the first point of contact for teachers
Establish and manage subject communities
Manage, review and fully utilise the first line queries into the business viathe Subject Specialists in order to find customer solutions or pro-activelyfeeding back across the teaching community
Manage the “Ask the Expert “ team for their subject to deliver a moreresponsive service
Seek contact with teachers in centres and at events (such as launch andtraining events, local network events, conferences and examiner meetings)
Lead virtual subject teams within Pearson and build relationships with keyinternal and external stakeholders
Edit and author a subject area on the Pearson Qualifications website.
Lead on and review all (subject specific) Social Media content including theuse of facebook and twitter
Update and advise the Customer Service and virtual teams on developments inthe subject area. This includes producing a regular teacher' email update.
Contribute to root-cause analysis of important issues around teacherenquiries
Analyse trends in teacher contacts and recommending and implementingpro-active solutions for providing information to teachers

Education and Training Requirements
Degree level education or equivalent
Sound understanding of Health & Social Careand Childcare qualifications across all sectors, ideally those offered by Pearson.
Good understanding of the educationalenvironment in the UK and internationally.
