The role of the Senior Statistician is instrumentalto our work. It requires the provision of statistical expertise for assessmentresearch, and for the design, planning and analyses of current tasks. We areseeking an exceptional Senior Statistician to carry out a variety of unique andinteresting analyses including the use of logistic regression to detectatypical behaviour, predictive modelling and sampling methodologies. Inaddition, the Senior Statistician will provide statistical support andresearch, including the preparation and evaluation of statistical data toensure the effective running of the examination process and the maintenance ofsubject, year-on-year and inter-board comparability.

2.1 or above in a numerate degree including standard statisticaltechniques.
Higher degree involving statistics/mathematics, or 5 years’ experiencein assessment research (technical).
Positive manner with the ability to communicate well with colleagues andstakeholders.
Knowledge of modelling techniques
- Psychometric knowledge or experience
