This is a working analyst position. The Contracts Analyst creates and edits contractual agreements to acquire content, goods and services. In the course of providing proactive, pragmatic support to the business and other stakeholders, the Contracts Analyst identifies risk and mitigation strategies, and works as a business partner with all levels of the business to provide responsive, clear, actionable advice.

Research complex contractual and legal questions and issues; clearly communicate findings and identify risks associated with mitigation options. Interface with all levels of executive leadership and management regarding expenditure contracts in a fast paced, demanding environment.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience in negotiating drafting expenditure contracts to acquire content, goods and/or services.

  • Must be able to successfully multi-task, be proactive, and be very detailed oriented.

  • Good interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation, time management and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication, grammar, writing and editing skills.

  • Strong ethics, integrity and values.

  • Demonstrate experience communicating with all levels of management and cross functional teams.

  • Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, Paralegal, or equivalent degree and related experience required.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and general PC skills.

  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of contract analyst experience.
