PearsonTest of English Academic (PTE Academic) is a high stakes language test which isgrowing rapidly worldwide, as a strong competitor to IELTS and TOEFL. Theexpanding team requires a self-starter to deliver a test recognition programfor PTE Academic across higher and further education institutions in the stateswith an agreed global recognition strategy. Thecandidatewill be required todeliver agreed recognition targets, ultimately positioning PTE Academic as thetest of choice within institutions; will work with institutions to raise theprofile of PTE Academic and related testing products, and will build brandawareness and demand for the test within their territory. The territory for this role is the Mid-West (12 states).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developand execute a tactical plan across higher education institutions within theterritory, with the aim of securing the highest level of endorsement/use/statusof/for PTE Academic.

  • Buildand manage relationships with Admissions Offices, International Offices andother university leaders and staff to secure the highest level of awareness andendorsement for PTE Academic.

  • Usinga mix of sales and influencing skills, convince university and collegerelationships of the benefits of PTE Academic.

  • Proactivelyposition PTE Academic and expand brand and product awareness and understandingwith key external stakeholders including education associations &networks

  • ShowcasePTE Academic at industry conferences, forums and events.

  • Providesupport to universities and colleges through the organization of workshops andseminars on English language testing.

  • Keepinformed about developments within higher education and with competitoractivity.

  • Therole will require travel within the territory to meet withuniversities /colleges, attend events and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate professionally, clearly and effectively to target audiences. Highly developed oral, written and presentation skills.

    • Experience in building stakeholder relationships for commercial benefit.
    • Good influencing skills and the ability to convince through personal credibility.
    • Evidence of success in a sales role.
    • Previous education sales experience.

    • Computer literate & able to use a CRM system.
  • Desirable:

    • Knowledge of English language assessments or with educational testing.
    • Experience working within a university or admissions/recruitment office environment at a senior level.
