Pearson is seeking an innovative and customer-focussed Senior Regional Manager (APAC).This is an exciting and new role that will see you overseeing the provision of support service for Pearson managed devices including desktop, mobile devices and printers. You will be responsible for driving consistency across the APAC region, including driving standardizations and driving the optimization efforts for full TechOps integration.

As the successful candidate you will also be challenged with transitioning the deskside organization into a simplified, consistent and global organization as well as managing the global scope as the organization moves forward to transform.

Examples of key deliverables include:

  • Driving the integration of End User Service Support teams across APAC including defining blueprint framework to ensure consistency of standards and processes

  • Simplifying the Service portfolio

  • Understanding relevant knowledge requirements for resources and driving global competence and capability

  • Resource Management including global utilization of contractors

  • Creating, rolling out, and maintaining a customer experience improvement framework


  • Strong leader with substantial experience managing and motivating cross-functional teams in a global, matrix environment

  • Sound understanding of IT network design and architecture

  • Broad knowledge of Windows and Apple Mac operating systems and architecture

  • Strategic and sound business awareness

  • Strong customer service ethos and service mindset. Customer and service delivery focused

  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines and work under pressure

  • Ability to work individually using own initiative and as part of a team

  • Ability to challenge current norms

  • Strong analytical / problem solving abilities

  • Honest and transparent in all role activities

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

  • Respected and trusted by peers

  • Ability to provide technical coaching to business users

  • Good project management skills
