TheHead of Corporate Partnerships will be responsible for leading the UK ManagedServices’ Corporate Partnerships initiative, which will develop and leveragerelationships with industry and corporate leaders to expand the reach of Post-Graduateprograms offered by our university partners. The objective of the initiative isto strengthen relationships at the Executive C-Suite level and Senior Leveldecision makers at Corporate Organizations, solicit training and developmentneeds, craft strategies to provide educational opportunities to CorporatePartners and employees, and increase enrollments for our UK University OnlineProgramme Management Partnerships.

The role will oversee efforts and collaborate on integratedmarketing and recruitment efforts that promote high quality degree programs(and will consistently introduce and manage the roll-out of campaigns topartners). This leader will maintain a deep knowledge of the universitypartners and programmes to ensure high quality students enroll in the programsthat best suit students’ needs.


Sales Strategy -

  • Ensure Corporate Partnershipsstrategies align with UK Managed Services goals, performance benchmarks and keyobjectives

  • Buildand execute corporate partnerships strategy in collaboration with allFunctional Heads and Head of Partnership Management, by identifying Corporatetraining and development needs and providing educational opportunities toCorporate employees (by vertical, region, and/or discipline)

  • Establishand develop Senior and Executive Level relationships at Corporate Partnershipthrough associations, alumni networks, donor lists, trends in active studentpopulation, etc.

Leadership and TeamManagement

  • Leadthe Corporate Partnerships team focused on professional development andperformance management and deeply rooted in Pearson’s core values

  • Managea team that establishes and executes integrated marketing and recruitmentefforts that drive enrollments for our Academic Partners)

  • Provide the UK Managed Services’Executive Director and extended leadership team with regular performanceupdates, year over year reporting and trending analysis

Operational Integration

  • Partnerwith operational cross-functional teams to ensure that Corporate Partnershipsseamlessly integrates into business operations and drives program performance

  • Partnerwith Managing Directors to identify, negotiate and execute existing and new corporatepartnership opportunities through our University Partners.



  • Four-year degree from an accredited institution in Business or equivalent discipline OR combination of education and significant experience; Master’s Degree a plus

  • Proven ability or appropriate training to supervise or manage others

  • Related experience with a successful and demonstrable track record in business development and/or partnerships in higher education

  • Experience selling intangibles; selling solutions vs. products with focus on sales process

  • Experience being a hands-on leader with a high degree of personal accountability and integrity

  • Strong performance management experience, preferably in a field sales environment

  • Results-oriented with strong work ethic and ability to work on many activities concurrently

  • Relationship builder with outstanding interpersonal, communication and strong/succinct oral communication skills
