The Operations Training Specialistis responsible for developing; delivering and evaluating sales focused trainingprograms within Recruitment Services. The highest priority is the delivery ofengaging and effective sales training programs which leverage the team’s skillsto drive success and growth. This rolewill also be responsible for coaching and mentoring on all functions withinRecruitment Services.


Specific duties andresponsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties and responsibilities may beassigned.

  • Provide continuous sales, systems andadministrative training (to include new and refresh topics) in cooperation withHR department

  • A track record of success in designing and delivering engagingsales training modules

  • Experience in both sales and trainer roles

  • Utilize the phone system to monitor performanceand provide timely feedback/coaching on the quality and accuracy of verbalcommunications

  • Facilitate one-on-one meetings with each teammember to discuss topics relevant to their performance and provide tools topromote performance improvement; also enhanced sales conversations

  • Review and evaluate EAs and EC’s phone conversations

  • Assist in the research, development,implementation and alignment of department-wide initiatives and specialprojects

  • Partner with the Director, Recruitment Servicesand Human Resources to create department policies and procedures designed to driveperformance

  • Mentor department staff on Recruitment Servicesbest practices

  • Requires the ability to work a flexible schedule,including weekends and evenings to accommodate students, departmental andcompany’s needs. This may include working more than 40 hours a week

  • Ability to travel to all locations (including,but not limited to: Orlando, Chicago, Toronto) in support of the RecruitmentServices department

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, includingweekends or evenings to accommodate students, departmental and company needs.This may include working more than 40 hours per week.



  • Four-year degree from anaccredited institution intraining/development/human resources/sales or equivalent discipline ORcombination of education and significant experience. Master’s Degree is a plus.

  • CPLP (CertifiedProfessional in Learning and Performance) certification a plus

  • Minimum of 3 years’experience in management and training an inside sales team while performing ina high-relationship consultative sales process

  • General knowledge of thehigher education industry

  • Expert level proficiencyin CRM solutions, MS Office and Consultative Sales Approach

  • Proficiency in GoogleDocs, G-Mail, G-Chat, Google Hangout

  • This position requiresthe ability to work a flexible schedule , including weekends andevenings to accommodate students, departmental and company’s needs. Thismay include working more than 40 hours a week.

  • Ability to travel to alllocations (including, but not limited to Chandler, AZ; Chicago, IL; Toronto, Canada; Orlando, FL) in support ofthe Recruitment Services department
