Responsibilitieswill include but not limited to:

  • Technical leadand mentor to junior team members

  • Work with otherteams to design and support critical product integrations

  • Take full ownership of the product by implementing internalmonitoring, instrumentation, and overall visibility of our learning systems(devops)

  • Follow engineering best practices

  • Ensure efficient deliveries, performance and scalability ofsolutions

  • Qualifications:

§ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; advanceddegree preferred

*§ * * Proven ability to developrobust, production-quality code in complex software system environments;preferably high volume *

*§ * * Experience with Node.js, Java EE, Cassandra and/or other NoSQL databases,Angular.js/JavaScript/jQuery, AWS *

*§ * * Ability to understand and use existing complex integrated systems anddata structures to enable new technologies and innovations *

*§ * * Agile methodologies, SDLC, and use of tools e.g. Jira *

*§ * * Experienced team technical lead *

§ Experience with unit testframeworks and test driven development

§ Build tools e.g. Jenkins, Gitand continuous integration

§ Experience with developing softwaretools, utilities, and components

§ Demonstrated written and verbal communication, problem solving,interpersonal, and time management skills
