Associate Content Developer

Description

The Associate Math Content Developer reports to the Math Content Development Manager and works as an individual contributor to the creation, release, and maintenance of instructional content for mathematics and statistics media products by the Pearson Mathematics & Statistics Media group. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: writing content and correlations; assessing content viability and appropriateness; developing content in accordance with instructional objectives; ensuring consistency of products and their components; correcting errors and responding to quality assurance issues; and occasionally performing quality assurance testing.

Qualifications

BA/BS in mathematics or similar field required. Basic knowledge of computer hardware/software infrastructure. Math content knowledge and expertise through college calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra. Solid written English skills. Experience in education and/or educational technology. Other desirable skills include: software programming and testing skills, good teamwork, and collaborative skills. Ability to do thorough, accurate, and meticulous work and attention to detail essential. Must be able to manage time effectively in producing results.
