We currently have an educationalsales opportunity in the greater Kansas City area within our Math and Science (MS) division.

As a Pearson Sales Representative, you are on the front lines of assisting and supporting the transformation oflearning. You are also responsible for creating effective and innovative salessolutions that address the issues and challenges facing institutions, instructorsand students today to meet necessary educational outcomes. Ifyou possess a need for achievement, a desire or demonstrated success inmeeting and succeeding goals, an interest in digital media andapplications, and a passion for education, you may find Pearson to be a great fit!

Your responsibilities wouldconsist of:

  • Employing effective consultative techniques including pre-call planning and productivequestioning strategies that lead to winning business.

  • Demonstrating superb organizational and follow-up abilities.

  • Maintaining product knowledgearound Pearson technologies, the educational industry, and factors influencingthe market environment.

  • Delivering technology presentations to faculty.

  • Demonstrating collaboration through sharing of successful strategies and working with crossfunctional teams.

  • Implementing company initiatives into your sales territory.

  • Building strong relationships with faculty members and college bookstore personnel.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • HighAchievement and consistent track record for excelling in a fast-paced collegeand/or work environment.

  • Salesexperience or aptitude via enthusiasm for the process of successfully investigating,defining, and fulfilling customers’ needs.

  • Excellentpresentation skills.

  • Experiencewith Learning Technologies or curiosity about the development of traditionaland technology based intellectual property.

  • Technologicalproficiency and strong working knowledge of the internet, mobile technologies,and computer applications and business systems.

  • Exceptionalverbal and written communication.

  • A4-year college degree demonstrating academic excellence.
