C2-Senior Social Media Analyst
The Social Media Manager creates and drivesWSE International’s social media strategy across its global network. As WSE is a premium provider of Englishlanguage learning services, social media plays a critical role in our marketingmix to deliver engagement with the brand and sales through direct advertisingresponse.
The Social Media Manager manages socialmedia channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube) and worksclosely with the social media managers in all WSE Franchise territories toensure best practice is followed, and significant measureable gains areachieved on a sustained basis in terms of marketing performance.
The Social Media Manager is obsessed bydata, measurement and testing, and also masters and is excited by innovativeand creative ways to drive engagement and reach in markets as diverse asColombia, Vietnam and France.
Essentialduties and responsibilities include the following:
Social mediastrategy : Develop and implement social media strategy through competitiveresearch, platform determination, benchmarking, testing, messaging and audienceidentification
Contentmanagement and editorial : Create editorialcalendars and syndication schedules. Generate, edit, publish and share content (original text, images, videoor HTML).
Monitoringand Optimization: Manage and optimizecompany presence within each platform to increase the visibility of company’ssocial content to boost brand reach and engagement. Management of social mediamonitoring tools.
Leadgeneration : Originate and execute advertising tactics across the network thatdeliver effective and efficient lead generation via social channels, includingmobile app install campaigns.
Innovate: Driveinnovation across the Network in relation to adoption of winning marketingtactics, new tools and techniques. Be a thought leader.
Performance marketing: Continuouslyimprove by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics,insights and best practices, and then acting on the information. Monitor effectiveness and ROI of spend ofsocial channels against defined and rigorously measured KPIs.
Training andnetwork development: Work closely with socialmedia managers in franchised markets to deliver best practice with respect tobrand development, reputation management and lead generation. This will take the form of training andpolicy/guideline development as needed.
Budget andagency management: Manage the social mediabudget for WSE International and associated agencies. Provide guidance to thenetwork on budget.
Communicate: Communicateprogress and strategy on a regular basis to the Senior Management teams andacross departments at both WSE International and in territories
●Minimum3 year’s professional experience in social media optimization, online marketing
●Universitydegree in relevant field (e.g. Marketing, business)
●Demonstrableexperience of managing social media, mobile and online marketing campaigns frominception to successful execution in international markets
●Experiencewith Facebook/Twitter ad platforms (Facebook Power Editor)
●Experiencerunning online marketing tests (A/B)
●Masteryof social monitoring and analytical tools
●Nativeor bilingual speaker of English
●Demonstratedexperience managing a marketing budget
Contentcreation and optimization for social channels
Nice to have:
●Experiencewith marketing automation tools (e.g. Hubspot)
●Experiencemanaging social ad campaigns to drive mobile app installs
●Bloggingor online journalism experience
●Knowledgeof video-editing software and Photoshop (or equivalent)
●Knowledgeand experience with SEO
●Second(or more) language(s)
●Formerexperience working with language learners an advantage
