The Technical Project Managertypically manages medium-sized projects and teams, covering one to threeproduct areas, including some cross-functional teams, with the capability tomanage smaller projects and teams as needed. Additionally, this role mightsupport other Project Managers or Software Development Group Managers in largerproject efforts or maintenance activities.
The Technical Project Manager managesand controls IT projects in all project-related interfaces: planning,directing, and coordinating project activities with the ownership forsuccessful completion of all project deliverables to the business withinestablished financial, schedule, and quality objectives.

SCOPE AND IMPACT OF JOB
Working closely with Program Managers, Project Managers, Product Owners, Group Managers, clients, and other team members, the Technical Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that project delivery objectives are achieved in accordance with established business goals and requirements.
The Technical Project Manager manages and controls projects in all project-related interfaces: planning, directing, and coordinating project activities with the ownership for successful completion of all project deliverables to the business within established financial, schedule, scope, and quality objectives.
At the Technical Project Manager level, it is expected that job incumbents will demonstrate basic proficiency with a majority of project management core capabilities while occasionally providing some mentoring and training support of other team members. Additionally, the Technical Project Manager may provide some informal leadership within the project management team to develop and refine best practices and process improvement.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
2 years previous project management experience
4 or more years software development project experience (in any role)
Strong Agile project management experience
Experienced managing multiple projects simultaneously
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent organizational and coordination skills
Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes a must
Knowledge of project management methods and tools required
Strong listening, oral and written communications skills required
Leadership and team building skills a must
Conflict management experience preferred
Ability to deal effectively with change in a fast paced environment
